Academy Software Foundation has announced that Autodesk has released Open RV on its GitHub repository. Open RV is an open-source version of its media review and playback software, and the release is a part of the Open Review Initiative, aspires to build a unified open-source toolset for the playback, review, and approval of motion pictures and related professional media.
