The Blender Foundation has announced that it is now an official Associate Member of The Khronos Group, an open industry consortium of over 150 hardware and software companies creating advanced, royalty-free, acceleration standards for 3D graphics, Augmented and Virtual Reality, vision and machine learning. This development give the Blender team access to all the Khronos group’s resources and and allows them to participate in working groups related to open standards.
