Das Element is a new VFX asset library software designed to help artists to organise images, sequences and video files. The primary goal is to have a simple and easy way to organise the”‘chaos folder’ that probably every company has somewhere on the server”. This is achieved using an AI feature to automatically assist with the process of tagging files that uses a machine learning model specifically trained for VFX elements. Das Elements has been designed to operate completely offline so companies don’t need to worry about security when it comes to NDAs for feature films or TV shows.
