Plugins developer Anastasiy Safari has released Extension Manager 4.0, the latest version of his free tool for managing add-ons for Creative Cloud applications and older Adobe software.
The update makes the software compatible with the CC 2022 and CC 2023 releases of Adobe applications.
A free tool for installing and uninstalling extensions for Adobe apps like Photoshop
Extension Manager installs and uninstalls extensions in ZXP and – new since version 3.0 – UXP format, including third-party plugins.
It supports Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Animate, Dreamweaver and XD, plus legacy software like Flash Professional and Fireworks.
Adobe recommends it in its instructions for installing extensions as an alternative to its own Creative Cloud desktop app, having deprecated its own native Extension Manager.
Availability and system requirements
Extension Manager 4.0 is available for Windows 7+ and Mac OS X 10.8+. It is compatible with Adobe’s CC 2023 releases, also sometimes referred to as the October 2022 updates. It’s a free download.
